Schoharie extended their postseason success on Thursday against Hoosic Valley. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hawks 11-10. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on five straight.

Kayla Hayes spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and five unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carly Waters, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Harper Maleszweski was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Schoharie's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Hoosic Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

As of now, neither Schoharie nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
