Trinity Christian and Piedmont Academy are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Crusaders will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trinity Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Fullington Academy on Friday. The Crusaders strolled past the Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 52-33.

Meanwhile, Piedmont Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Augusta Prep by a score of 55-47. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Cougars were the better team in the second half.

Trinity Christian came up short against Piedmont Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 53-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Cougars' Corbett Crews, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards.
