Volleyball Game Preview: Mayfield Trojans vs. Silver Fighting Colts + How To Watch

The Mayfield Trojans will head out to challenge the Silver Fighting Colts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mayfield comes in on four and Silver on six.

On Thursday, Mayfield earned a 3-1 win over Atrisco Heritage Academy.

Mayfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Silver got the win against Ruidoso on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 26-24.

Mayfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Silver, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
