Football Game Preview: Shelton vs. Peninsula

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Shelton should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Peninsula at 7:00 PM. Shelton are limping into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-46, which was the final score in Shelton's tilt against Capital last Friday.

Meanwhile, Peninsula took the game and then some with a 41-0 win over North Thurston. The success made it back-to-back wins for Peninsula.

Peninsula's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Shelton's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Peninsula's success rolls on or if Shelton are able to steal their positive momentum.
