Football Game Preview: Hillsdale Hornets vs. Onsted Wildcats

The Hillsdale Hornets will face off against the Onsted Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsdale has given up an average of 46 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hillsdale is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Clinton on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hornets took a blow against the Redwolves, falling 69-14. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Redwolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Onsted). They walked away with a 31-21 win over Blissfield on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

With the victory, Onsted broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Hillsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
