It was a good run, but Buckeye unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Tioga Indians by a score of 7-6. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Tioga, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Buckeye will take on Holy Savior Menard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Holy Savior Menard will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Buckeye surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tioga, they will face off against Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
