Soccer Game Preview: Franklin County vs. St. John Paul II

Franklin County hasn't had much luck against St. John Paul II recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Franklin County Seahawks are taking a road trip to square off against the St. John Paul II Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Franklin County's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Franklin County and Marianna finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Franklin County's goal came courtesy of Steve Esteban, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Tiger Sharks with a sharp 4-1 win.

St. John Paul II's victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1. Franklin County's draw makes their record 2-6-4 this season.

Franklin County suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to St. John Paul II in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can Franklin County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
