Basketball Game Preview: Rossford Bulldogs vs. Oak Harbor Rockets

Rossford is on a five-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Oak Harbor a ten-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. The Rossford Bulldogs will host the Oak Harbor Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Rossford came up short against Bryan and fell 69-57. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Golden Bears are ranked 305th).

Meanwhile, Oak Harbor opened the new year with a less-than-successful 64-57 defeat to Fostoria.

Rossford's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Oak Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Rossford didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Oak Harbor when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory.
