Soccer Game Preview: Midwest City vs. Del City

The Midwest City Bombers will head out to challenge the Del City Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Del City took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Midwest City, who comes in off a win.

Midwest City is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Midwest City who was credited with the victory on Thursday. Midwest City got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College's three. The win was some much needed relief for the Bombers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Del City is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to Noble.

Midwest City's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Del City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Midwest City couldn't quite get it done against Del City when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Midwest City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
