After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrisburg, Pinckneyville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering Pinckneyville have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alivia Lovelady (2), Erin Bender (2), Hannah Halsted, and Izzi Baggett.

Pinckneyville's victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pinckneyville and Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden will both be playing Massac County the next time they take the pitch. The Wildcats will head out to face the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
