Pennridge never let their opponents score on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the North Penn Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted against the Knights since April 5, 2022.

Anthony Cox looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Pennridge and bumps their season record up to 11-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for North Penn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-5 record this season.
