After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuscaloosa Academy, Bessemer City was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Huffman Vikings as they made off with a 13-5 win. Considering the Tigers have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ni'Kayla Hardy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Whitley Phillips, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
