Basketball Recap: Tower Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wilmington Christian last Thursday, Tower Hill came back down to earth. The Tower Hill Hillers took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archmere Academy Auks. The Hillers were not able to make up for their loss to the Auks from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Tower Hill dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Archmere Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Tower Hill is taking a road trip to face off against Sanford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sanford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. Archmere Academy has already played their next match (against DuPont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
