Soccer Game Preview: Ryan vs. Denton

The Ryan Raiders will square off against the Denton Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Ryan is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Argyle on Friday. Ryan fell just short of Argyle by a score of 1-0. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Denton after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Argyle by a score of 2-1.

Denton's goal came courtesy of Brandon Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Denton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-3-3 record this season. Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-3.
