Volleyball Recap: West Boca Raton's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

West Boca Raton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the FAU High Owls by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulls as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hailey Ferwerda paced West Boca Raton's offense, picking up six kills. Ferwerda got some help from Sofia Maldonado and her nine assists. Caitlin Dreyer controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

West Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for FAU High, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

West Boca Raton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against King's Academy on the 19th. As for FAU High, they will take on Pine Crest at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
