Softball Game Preview: Ingraham Rams vs. Lynnwood Royals

The Ingraham Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Lynnwood Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ingraham and 13 for Lynnwood dating back to last season.

Ingraham came into this matchup off a tough 17-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Chief Sealth by a score of 13-11 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Lynnwood was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They came up short against Marysville Getchell, falling 21-2.

Lynnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ingraham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Ingraham came out on top in a nail-biter against Lynnwood in their previous matchup last Tuesday, sneaking past 19-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ingraham since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
