St. Edward never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Foundation Christian Academy on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Reid Morris made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Trey Dunlap was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. Cooper Harp was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

St. Edward's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foundation Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .400.
