Volleyball Game Preview: Chapel Hill Tigers vs. East Chapel Hill Wildcats

After both having extra time off, the Chapel Hill Tigers and the East Chapel Hill Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chapel Hill has eight straight wins, East Chapel Hill has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, Chapel Hill made easy work of Enloe and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Chapel Hill never let Enloe on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Chapel Hill took on Orange last Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

East Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chapel Hill, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Everything went Chapel Hill's way against East Chapel Hill in their previous meeting back in March, as Chapel Hill made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
