Volleyball Recap: Ottumwa Takes a Loss

Ottumwa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Assumption Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Ottumwa's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Assumption, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Ottumwa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Center Point-Urbana on the 6th. As for Assumption, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Dike-New Hartford on the 6th.
