Softball Recap: Kimball Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Kimball proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 12) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spectrum Sting, sneaking past 9-7. The victory was familiar territory for the Cubs, who have now won three contests in a row.

Claire Honer was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Spectrum, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball will welcome Holdingford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spectrum, they will host Heritage Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
