Rugby entered their tilt with Turtle Mountain on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 48-42 W against the Turtle Mountain Braves. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 40-35 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Rugby pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Turtle Mountain, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Rugby will face off against Dunseith at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Turtle Mountain, they will host South Prairie/Max at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Prairie/Max will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something Turtle Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
