Softball Recap: Christian County Comes Up Short

Christian County lost against Meade County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colonels fell just short of the Green Waves by a score of 2-1. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Meade County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

Christian County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Franklin-Simpson on the 3rd. As for Meade County, they will head out to challenge Floyd Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
