Mansfield Christian dropped their record down to 4-11 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 17-5 to the St. Paul Flyers. The Flames were not able to make up for their loss to the Flyers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Ryleigh Mansfield-Bush was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Kalizewski, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mansfield Christian will square off against Genoa Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Paul, they will face off against Huron at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
