Newark Tech posted their closest victory since September 24, 2024 on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Irvington Blue Knights 2-1. This was payback for the Terries, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Newark Tech back to even at 1-1. As for Irvington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Newark Tech will host Weequahic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Irvington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against East Orange Campus on the 5th.
