Basketball Game Preview: University Trojans vs. Ellison Eagles

University is 0-10 against Ellison since November of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Ellison took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on University, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, University strolled past Lorena with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Leopards are ranked 558th).

Meanwhile, Ellison came up short against San Angelo Central on Friday and fell 66-53.

University's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6. As for Ellison, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
