Robinson came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes, sneaking past 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Maroons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Avery Strauch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

Robinson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive games.

Robinson's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Teutopolis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-9.

Robinson has already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Hutsonville/Palestine on the 15th. Teutopolis has also already played their next matchup (against Newton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
