Edon extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-51 W against the Ayersville Pilots. This was payback for the Bombers, who suffered a 42-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.

As for Ayersville, they now have a losing record of 1-2. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Despite the loss, Ayersville still got an impressive performance from Kendra Waldron, who shot 46% from the field on her way to 28 points and three steals. Waldron is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Ensign, who posted seven points.

Coming up, Edon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Montpelier at 7:30 p.m. As for Ayersville, they will take on Pettisville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
