Baseball Recap: Coventry Christian Comes Up Short

Coventry Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Christian School of York, falling 7-0. If Coventry Christian was looking for revenge after losing 13-4 to Christian School of York when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coventry Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Christian School of York, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coventry Christian will host West-Mont Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian School of York, they will be playing at home against High Point Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian School of York's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
