Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Emma Parnell stepped things up a notch to give Montgomery Central the 'W'. Parnell turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
