Las Vegas took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Arbor View Aggies a 5-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Anthony Cardenas as he scored three goals for his team.

Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Las Vegas is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Western at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arbor View, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Liberty at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
