Basketball Recap: Blue River Valley Takes a Loss

Blue River Valley and Seton Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Blue River Valley had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 61-30 loss at the hands of the Seton Catholic Cardinals. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

It was another big night for Jackson Feist, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards for Seton Catholic. Feist's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jason Moynihan, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 15 points and five rebounds.

Blue River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Seton Catholic, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-10.

Blue River Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seton Catholic, they will take on Union City at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Seton Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
