Baseball Recap: Parkrose Comes Up Short

Parkrose fell victim to Hood River Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Broncos were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Parkrose and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Hood River Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkrose will venture away from home to take on La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Hood River Valley, they will take on Putnam at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
