Football Game Preview: Richards Bulldogs vs. Lemont Lemont HS

The Richards Bulldogs will square off against the Lemont Lemont HS at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Richards is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Oak Lawn, posting a 59-29 win. With the Bulldogs ahead 39-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Lemont and Hillcrest have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Lemont HS walked away with a 31-24 victory over the Hawks.

Lemont's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Richards, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Richards beat Lemont 21-10 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lemont HS turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
