Soccer Recap: Coconut Creek Gets the Win

Coconut Creek hadn't done well against Deerfield Beach recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Coconut Creek Cougars skirted past the Deerfield Beach Bucks 3-2. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory the Bucks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Coconut Creek hit Deerfield Beach with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jeff Saint-Juste, Mike (Dieunardo) Milord, and Alexander Guillaume.

Coconut Creek's record is now 9-2-2. As for Deerfield Beach, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Coconut Creek challenge the Blanche Ely at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Deerfield Beach, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pompano Beach at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
