Basketball Game Preview: Metro Tech Knights vs. McClintock Chargers

Metro Tech hasn't had much luck against McClintock recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Metro Tech Knights will be playing at home against the McClintock Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Metro Tech is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Mingus, falling 72-33.

Meanwhile, McClintock was beaten by Central 85-46 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Bobcats are ranked 30th).

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-25. As for McClintock, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Metro Tech took a serious blow against McClintock in their previous meeting back in January, falling 91-25. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McClintock's Kyler Frye, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds.
