Basketball Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Roswell Coyotes 77-45. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-50 two weeks ago.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Roswell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clovis will venture away from home to face off against Carlsbad at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roswell, they will head out on the road to challenge Hobbs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hobbs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Roswell likes a good challenge.
