Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They blew past the Perry Ramblers 18-7 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.
Carson Litwiller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bryson Sattler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Fulton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Fulton's record is now 18-5. As for Perry, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, Fulton and Perry will both be playing Lansing Christian the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Pilgrims at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Ramblers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
