Basketball Recap: Danville Piles Up the Points Against Indiana Math & Science Academy North

Everything came up roses for the Danville Warriors against the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights on Saturday as the team secured an 85-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Danville was led to victory by Carter Ward and Ray'Von Martin. Ward shot 45% from the field to rack up 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Martin posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Oliver Riggs, who earned nine points and seven boards.

Danville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 20 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Danville's record is now 2-0. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Danville will be playing at home against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they will head out to square off against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Argonauts have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
