Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Judge Memorial Catholic). They put the hurt on the Providence Hall Patriots with a sharp 8-0 win on Thursday. Give Judge Memorial Catholic's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Providence Hall from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Tahj Cole led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Judge Memorial Catholic now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Providence Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Judge Memorial Catholic and Providence Hall will both be playing Juan Diego Catholic the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will host the Soaring Eagle at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
