Palmetto Ridge has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They came up short against the Mariner Tritons on Wednesday, falling 5-1. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bears it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Jonathan Tamayo, who's now up to six this season.

Palmetto Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-4. As for Mariner, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto Ridge will take on LaBelle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LaBelle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Mariner, they will face off against North Fort Myers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mariner's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
