Basketball Recap: Heritage Preparatory Comes Up Short

Heritage Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by St. George 57-30. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while St. George's are ranked 98th).

Heritage Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. George's, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Preparatory will be home for the holidays to greet Atlanta Jewish Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. George's, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount de Sales Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. George's defense has only allowed 21.8 points per game this season, so Mount de Sales Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
