Girard is 9-1 against St. Mary's-Colgan since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Girard Trojans will welcome the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers at 7:15 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Girard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-46 to Fort Scott. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's-Colgan was able to grind out a solid victory over Frontenac on Tuesday, taking the game 48-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

St. Mary's-Colgan's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for Girard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2.

Girard took their victory against St. Mary's-Colgan in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 50-29. Does Girard have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Mary's-Colgan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
