Omaha took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Deer, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Omaha came out on top in a nail-biter against Deer on Monday, sneaking past 22-20. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Omaha back to even at 2-2. As for Deer, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Omaha and Deer will both be playing Norfork the next time they take the field. Deer will head out to face Norfork at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Omaha will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
