Mission Vista is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will challenge the Carlsbad Lancers at 3:30 p.m. Mission Vista will be strutting in after a win while Carlsbad will be coming in after a defeat.

Mission Vista proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Mt. Carmel 2-1.

Macy Milena spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Liliana Gonzales was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
