Basketball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 79-22 defeat at the hands of the Earlsboro Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Wildcats are ranked 207th).

Mason's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Earlsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Mason has already played their next game (against Dewar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Earlsboro will take on Beggs at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
