Green Mountain won the last time they faced Littleton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Green Mountain Rams were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over the Littleton Lions. The Rams pushed the score to 48-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Green Mountain's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Simon Lunsford, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points and eight boards. Lunsford is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Sam Mielenz was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 16 points.

Green Mountain was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Littleton only racked up nine assists.

Despite the loss, Littleton had strong showings from Peyton Brooks, who posted seven points, and Pierce Battles, who scored six points. Jeff Harding also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Green Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points over those games. As for Littleton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Green Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-30 win against D'Evelyn on the 7th. As for Littleton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-65 defeat against Pomona on the 7th.
