Meanwhile, Covington had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came out on top against Munford by a score of 44-32.
Brighton's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Covington, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season.
