Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Heber Springs Panthers, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Mountain View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Heber Springs are ranked 20th).

Mountain View now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Heber Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Mountain View has already played their next matchup (against Westside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Heber Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against Central Arkansas Christian on the 28th.
