Preview: Plentywood Wildcats vs. Brockton Warriors
Plentywood is 10-0 against Brockton since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The two teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Plentywood gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past Culbertson 67-32 at home. With Plentywood ahead 42-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Even though Brockton has not done well against Lambert/Richey recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Brockton snuck past Lambert/Richey with a 49-45 win. The win was just what Brockton needed coming off of a 74-54 defeat in their prior game.
The win makes it two in a row for Plentywood and bumps their season record up to 10-1. As for Brockton, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Everything came up roses for Plentywood against Brockton when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 75-45 win. Will Plentywood repeat their success, or does Brockton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
