Soccer Recap: Nederland Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Monday. Nederland lost 6-1 to Lake County. Nederland's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Perrine Breche, which was the first she's scored this season.

Nederland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Lake County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nederland will welcome Twin Peaks Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Twin Peaks Classical Academy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lake County, they will host Englewood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
